    Vintage A.C. Williams Cast Iron Elephant Still Coin Bank Very Nice Condition. Condition is "Used".
    Very nice patina with just a bit of the original paint.
    Original screw turns easily and closes tight.
    Produced in the 1912 to 1934 range.
    This bank measures about 3 inches tall, abiut 4 1/2 inches long and about 2 inches wide.
    It would be a great addition to your collection of banks or elephants. Would also look great as a decoration on a shelf.
    A.C. Williams was founded in 1886 by Mr. Adam Clark Williams in Chagrin Falls Ohio.  Just Three years later a big fire destroyed the Factory.  Fire destroyed it again in 1892 Williams moved the company to Ravenna Ohio.   Actual Production Began there in 1893.  Williams began to provide traveling salesmen with miniature samples of the company’s products.   A Detroit buyer pointed out the miniatures would make nice toys.  Soon A.C. Williams was the largest toy and still bank manufacture in the world.  The Woolworth's Dime Store chain was among the company’s biggest customers.
