    Vintage cast iron mechanical Elephant with Howdah bank No Tail. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
    This is Vintage Mechanical Cast Iron Elephant w/ Howdah Bank. Large Elephant w Howdah - Approximately 5" Tall. Condition is Used. It is missing the tail that is a lever to move the trunk.The bold colors on this item stand out. It looks antique in the way that this item was painted. The way It works is as follows. First you pull it's trunk down. Next you place a coin in it. Then you pull it's tail but tail is missing. This in turn releases the trunk inserting the coin into the body of the bank. still useful as a decoration or a bank. It has a screw that can be taken out of the side of the body to separate the two halves of the elephant, releasing the inserted money. I try to show the details of the item in the photos.
